This Is What Happy Looks Like-Jennifer E. Smith

This is What Happy Looks Like
I heard really great things about this book through booktube, and I honestly was a little hesitant at first. It seemed like an average book, which it is NOT by any means. This is one of the books where you sit down read a 100 pages and don't even realize it. It's such a pick me up story, it's heartwarming and so beautifully written.
This book is about 2 people Graham Larkin who is a movie star and Ellie O'Neill who is the illegimate daughter of a senator. Graham and Ellie met online when Graham accidently sends a email to her about his pet pig Wilbur, from there their relationship takes off they talk constantly there's only one thing, Ellie doesn't know that Grahams famous and Graham doesn't know about Ellie's family tree. When the movie that Graham is the lead star in loses it's filming site Graham recommends going to Ellie's hometown Henley, Maine. He attempts to find her in her small town, there's a mix up but when he finally finds her, does she even want to be a part of his world; can two people from different worlds be together despite the odds stacked against them.
This book switched perspectives which I really like especially in romance novels it's very interesting to see the guys perspective. The switch in perspectives isn't labeled but is very obvious and easy to follow. I read this book in under 12 hours and I just wanted to finish it to see if there love can make it through or if they fail. It's a very light book that just makes you happy inside. What is also very interesting is you see some of the emails they send each other which really helps you understand there relationship more. I give this book 4 stars out of 5 basically because I feel like it wasn't a very deep romance more like a like easy to read story. This book is teen romance, appropriate for tweens too.
